The Adult Drop-In Center offers a safe shelter with access to basic human services. Here our clients shower, eat, use the laundry and telephone, receive mail, get clothing and share fellowship with others. Case workers identify their skills and work with them to develop resumes, address health and legal issues and get counseling when needed. We strive to provide our clients with a safe and supportive environment where they can restore their dignity and self esteem.
Although Ronn had a good work history, he had a problem getting permanent housing and found himself living on the street. Sometimes he would ride the bus all night because he had nowhere to sleep. The Adult Center gave him a place to go during the day for help and provided him with evening shelter where he could be safe.
